MOVA Dubai is a trading name of D D L Real Estate L.L.C, TRN 100212663700003, Office 3-4, Al Wasl-3 Building, Al Wasl, Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("MOVA", "we", "us"). D D L Real Estate L.L.C is the data controller responsible for your personal data.

This policy explains what personal data we collect when you visit movadubai.com, submit our website or Facebook and Instagram lead forms, or contact us, how we use it and the choices you have, including for text messages (SMS). It is written with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021), the GDPR for visitors from the European Union and United Kingdom, and the US Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) in mind.

1. Information we collect

When you submit a form on our website or on a Facebook or Instagram lead form, or contact us directly, we may collect:

Your full name, phone or WhatsApp number and email address
Your property preferences, such as budget, preferred developer or project, purpose of purchase and timeline
Any message or information you choose to share with us

We also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and the advertising campaign that brought you to our site.

2. How we use your information

To respond to your enquiry and send you price lists, brochures, floor plans and payment plans
To contact you by phone, email, WhatsApp or text message (where you have opted in to SMS) about properties that match your request
To arrange viewings, reservations and the purchase process on your behalf
To send updates about new launches, only where you have agreed to receive them
To measure and improve our website and advertising
To meet legal, regulatory and anti money laundering obligations

We process your data on the basis of your consent, to take steps at your request before entering into an agreement, and for our legitimate interest in operating and improving our services.

3. Sharing your information

We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. This applies to every category of recipient listed below.

We never sell your personal data. We share limited information only where needed to serve you:

Property developers such as the developer of a project you have enquired about. Only when you ask us to register your interest or reserve a unit, we may share your name, email address and unit preferences with that developer. Mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in data and SMS consent are excluded from this sharing and are never passed to developers for their own marketing.
Service providers that process data on our behalf and under our instructions, including website hosting (Cloudflare), form delivery (FormSubmit), email (Google Workspace), our SMS delivery provider and advertising and analytics platforms (such as Meta and Google). They may not use your data, including mobile numbers, for their own marketing.
Authorities such as the Dubai Land Department or other regulators, where required by law

Some of these providers may store data outside the UAE. Where this happens, we rely on providers that apply appropriate safeguards to protect your data.

4. Text messages (SMS)

Program: MOVA Dubai Enquiries. Messages are sent by MOVA Dubai, a trading name of D D L Real Estate L.L.C.
Opt-in: you only receive text messages if you tick the separate, unticked SMS consent box on our website forms or on our Facebook and Instagram lead forms. Consent is not a condition of any purchase.
What we send: replies to your property enquiry, price lists, brochures and floor plans you have requested, payment plan details, and viewing or appointment reminders.
Frequency: message frequency varies depending on your enquiry.
Cost: Msg & data rates may apply.
Opt-out: reply STOP at any time to cancel. You will receive one confirmation message and no further texts. Reply HELP for help.

5. Cookies and tracking

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies, including the Meta Pixel and Google Ads or Analytics tags, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our advertising. You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not prevent you from using the site.

6. Data retention

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless a longer period is required for a completed transaction or by law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

7. Security

Our website is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to assist you. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

8. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to:

Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you
Ask us to correct or update your data
Ask us to delete your data or restrict how we use it
Withdraw your consent and opt out of marketing at any time
Object to processing based on our legitimate interests

To exercise any of these rights, email us at office@movadubai.com. You can also reply "STOP" to any WhatsApp or SMS message, or use the unsubscribe link in our emails.

9. Visitors in the United States

If you are located in the United States, we only send marketing or informational text messages and make autodialed or prerecorded calls to your mobile number with your prior express written consent, as required by the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA, 47 U.S.C. § 227) and related FCC rules. You give this consent by ticking the SMS consent box on our website forms or on our Facebook and Instagram lead forms, which is never pre-ticked and is not a condition of purchase. You can revoke consent at any time by replying STOP, by emailing office@movadubai.com or by any other reasonable means. We keep a record of when and how consent was given and honour opt-out requests promptly. We do not contact numbers on the US National Do Not Call Registry without valid consent.

Depending on your state of residence (for example California), you may have additional rights to know, access, correct or delete your personal information. We do not sell personal information for money. Our use of advertising tags such as the Meta Pixel may count as "sharing" for cross-context behavioural advertising under California law, and you can opt out of this by blocking cookies in your browser or by emailing us. 10. Third party websites

Our site may link to developer websites or other third party sites. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies separately.

11. Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with the effective date shown at the top.
